Have you ever wanted to get up close and personal with a big tiger? Then  Tiger Kingdom is your kind of place! I know it was mine!!

Tiger Kingdom was a hoot! You can pay to just walk around and see the tigers in their enclosures (like a zoo), but the fun of the place is being able to be inside the tiger’s enclosure. Of course, you have to pay extra for that. You can pick which type of tiger you want (cub, medium, large, or white). The tiger cubs are the most expensive. I opted for the white tiger. I also opted to pay for a photographer to take pictures. It was worth every cent. She took pictures with both her camera and mine, but also had different poses that she had me do, which made it more interesting. There were also 2-3 tiger attendants, so I wasn’t just set loose in the enclosure without any backup. They told me to approach the tiger from the back, and to use firm pressure when touching it. It wasn’t scary at all; I felt perfectly safe the entire time. You are given 15 minutes with the tiger, which was plenty. By the time we got back to the apartment, the link for the photos had been emailed to me. It was really quite the fun experience!
