Northern Scottish Islands and Iceland

We have completed the northern portion of our journey. We have visited the Shetland Islands (adorable ponies!), then headed up to Iceland for visits to Reykjavik and Akureyri, and then headed back to the Orkney Islands of Scotland. We will be in the Scottish Highlands tomorrow! Click on the links below for reviews of each port!

Lerwick, Shetland Islands

Reykjavik, Iceland

Akureyri, Iceland

Kirkwall, Orney Islands

  1. Really enjoyed reading about Iceland. We are planning a family trip by plane and car there for Dave’s 80th next year. Thanks for info. By the way what is the name of the cruise you are on for all this? Sounds like a really good one.

P/S we were in the cabin next door to you on the cruise out of Dubai.
